Volunteer Centre
LCRL currently host the Longford Volunteer Centre and its Volunteer Co-ordinator. The Longford Volunteer Centre operates from Longford Community Enterprise Centre, Ballinalee Road, Longford and is open Mon - Wed from 9:00-5:00. It is affiliated with Volunteer Centres Ireland and is a registered authorised signatory for Garda Vetting.
The Longford Volunteer Centre acts as a broker between individuals who wish to volunteer and those groups that involve volunteers. It exists to promote positive, inclusive well-managed volunteering within County Longford and acts as a centre of good practice for both organisations and volunteers.
